Beyond Wrestling held two events over the weekend. First, was its “Greatest Rivals Round Robin” event in Providence, Rhode Island Saturday night. Biff Busick won the GRRR Tournament, defeating Drew Gulak, Timothy Thatcher and Eddie Edwards in separate matches.  Following his victory in the main event, Busick said farewell to Beyond and its fans. He recently signed a developmental contract with WWE.

Sunday afternoon, Beyond was in Somerville, Massachusetts for its “Powder Keg” event. Ricochet defeated Shynron in the main event.

Also, Ring Of Honor’s The Kingdom (Michael Bennett & Matt Taven) defeated Death By Elbow (Chris Hero & J.T. Dunn), Timothy Thatcher defeated Darius Carter and ROH’s Donovan Dijak defeated Andrew Everett. On an unfortunate note, it appears Pinkie Sanchez suffered a serious ankle injury during his match.

CHIKARA also held two shows over the weekend. First, its “Justice Is Blind” event was Saturday night in Gibsonville, North Carolina. Silver Ant defeated Juan Francisco de Coronado in the final match of the night. In the scheduled main event, Dasher’s Dugout (Dasher Hatfield, Heidi Lovelace & Icarus) defeated Battleborn (Kevin Condron, Lucas Calhoun & Missile Assault Man). Also, Shynron was hanging from the rafters during his match against The Proletariat Boar Of Moldova.

Sunday afternoon, CHIKARA was in Norfolk, Virginia for its “The Marta Complex” event. N_R_G (Hype Rockwell & Race Jaxon) won the CHIKARA Campeonatos de Parejas Title from The Devastation Corporation (Blaster McMassive & Max Smashmaster) in a Two Out Of Three Falls match.

Squared Circle Wrestling held its “Then. Now. Forever.” event Sunday night in Syracuse, New York. The 2CW Heavyweight Championship changed hands twice. First, Michael Christopher defeated Nick Ando. Later in the night, Kevin Graham defeated Christopher.

In the main event, ROH’s Roderick Strong and Matt Jackson (without his brother and Young Bucks partner Nick. More on this later) defeated TNA’s Eddie Edwards and Mike Bailey. Also, a 30 Minute Iron Man Match between AR Fox and Colin Delaney ended in a 1-1 draw. More on 2CW a little further down the page under “Upcoming Events”.

Quintessential Pro Wrestling held its “Renowned” event Saturday night in Reno, Nevada. Former “The Ultimate Fighter” contestant and member of Ronda Rousey’s “4 Horsewomen” Shayna Baszler made her professional wrestling debut in a match against Cheerleader Melissa.

Big Time Wrestling held its “Fall Uprising” event Friday night in Newark, California. In the main event, Victor Sterling defeated Shawn Daivari to win the BTW United States Championship. Also, Ethan Carter III defended the TNA Heavyweight Championship against Kimo.

International Wrestling Cartel held its “Aftershock” event Saturday night in White Oak, Pennsylvania. In the main event, Jimmy Nutts & John McChesney defeated Team LaBar (Bill Collier & Wardlow), setting the stage for an IWC Championship match next month.

Also, Dylan Bostic defended the IWC Super Indy Title against Dennis Gregory and Ray Lyn defeated Britt Baker.

3XWrestling held two “Lucha Libre” events during the Iowa Latino Festival in Des Moines. To the shock of just about everyone involved, Democratic Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, who was campaigning at the festival, showed up during the matches Friday afternoon.


Squared Circle Wrestling is in Binghamton, New York Monday night (yes, Monday night) for its “Uncut. Uncensored. Uncooked.” event. The scheduled main event is The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) defending the 2CW Tag Team Championship vs. TNA’s The Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards). However…

So, 2CW is a Buck short Monday night, but the card is still an embarrassment of riches. Chris Hero vs. ROH’s Roderick Strong is also scheduled. Plus, there’s a lot of other talent, including  Mike Bailey, Biff Busick, Dalton Castle, Colin Delaney, AR Fox, Jessicka Havok and Matt Taven.

WWN & SHINE Wrestling present their “SHINE 30″ event Friday night in Ybor City, Florida and on iPPV. Santana defends the SHINE Championship against Evie in the main event. Also scheduled is Allysin Kay vs. Sweet Saraya Knight in an “Anything Goes” match.

Destiny World Wrestling holds its “No Limits” event in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Saturday night. The main event is Rey Mysterio vs. Richochet (Lucha Underground’s Prince Puma) vs. Global Force Wrestling’s P.J. Black (formerly Justin Gabriel in WWE).

Absolute Intense Wrestling has a doubleheader of shows Saturday in Cleveland, Ohio. First, AIW will hold its “Girls Night Out” event. Heidi Lovelace is scheduled to defend the AIW Women’s Title against Tessa Blanchard. Also scheduled is Candice LeRae vs. Mia Yim (better known as Jade to TNA fans), TNA’s Marti Belle vs. Allysin Kay and Annie Social vs. Veda Scott. That’s followed in the evening by AIW’s “Fresh Meat” event. Rickey Shane Page will defend the Absolute Title against Alex Daniels.

Maryland Championship Wrestling is holding its “Tribute To The Legends” event Saturday night in Joppa, Maryland. John Hennigan (Lucha Underground’s Johnny Mundo) is scheduled to face Shane Strickland (Lucha Underground’s Killshot). Also scheduled to appear are Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Ted DiBiase, Mickie James and The Headbangers.

Warriors Of Wrestling is holding its “W.O.W. vs. The World” event Saturday night in Staten Island, New York. EYFBO (Mike Draztik & Angel Ortiz) is scheduled to face The World’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas). It will be the first time teaming together for Benjamin and Haas since November 2014.

Pro Wrestling Express is holding its “Do Or Die” event Saturday night in McKeesport, Pennsylvania.
